Online Communities for GLBT Christians

What IS a Community? Many of you are familiar with MSN or Yahoo Groups.  This is one of the most used, most common of the "community-type" websites.  Communities are different than regular web sites in that they are almost 100% based on interaction among members.  Communities generally share common features such as message board areas, member profiles, chat and photo albums.  Some communities have a wide range of other features as well.  Most communities are free, others may charge for membership.  Some are completely public - anyone can join just by creating a user name.  Others may require approval of the community manager for access.

1 Body will be opening up 2-3 online communities for Gay Christians during 2005. In addition, 2 very popular MSN communities for Gay Christians are planning their move from MSN to 1 Body for mid 2005!  Gay Christian Outreach is planning to move in May, and Single Christian Lesbians is planning on moving in September!
